About
I’m an executive producer and writer specializing in non-scripted television. I began my career at the satire magazine SPY before moving to VH1, where I created the shows “Rock of Ages” and “Rock Candy,” about which Time said, “Rock comedy hasn’t been this smart since This Is Spinal Tap.” As the co-founder of Fractured Hip Productions with Frank Gregory, I produced the MTV hits “Silent Library” and “Boiling Points,” which was the highest-rated daily strip show in the channel’s history. As truTV’s SVP of Original Programming in charge of comedy and game, I helped launch the long-running hit “Impractical Jokers.” As an independent producer, my recent projects include “More Power” hosted by Tim Allen for History and “Double Take” with Jon Cena for Facebook. Over the years, I’ve developed with Jimmy Kimmel, produced for Eminem, and pranked Lady Gaga. I’m the author of several books, including 2019’s The Big Book of Rock & Roll Names: How Arcade Fire, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Vampire Weekend and 532 Other Bands Got Their Names, which is currently being developed as a podcast.
